Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Ko!

On June 27, 2009, my brother DK got married! So much to share, but for now, these links would have to do. It was an overwhelming weekend...lots and lots of love, good old and new friends, relatives I haven't seen in years, and we got to take a brief moment to celebrate CD's and my birthdays as well!

Lunch reception was more casual and for everyone who wanted to attend (no RSVP; there were almost 300 people!); and dinner reception was just for family and close friends who traveled from afar (~50 people).

Most importantly, it was first time CD got exposed to my [crazy] relatives! Thankfully, they loved him and he loved them! He also got along great with DK's friends...they forewarned us that they will be crashing our wedding...I think our guest number just went up and up! :)

Convocation

There are times when you just know that the eyes you are looking into are lovingly looking back at you. Tuesday was filled with such times. In my parents' eyes; in my brother's eyes; and in my FI's eyes...

Believe me when I say the convocation ceremony was not for me, but it was for my loved ones who watched over and supported me through all the years. It was such a fantastic day knowing that I was their pride and joy. I was especially happy to have CD standing by me, sharing this special moment that officially marked the end of a life's chapter, and to see the genuine adoration and pride in his eyes...

...I've worked and sacrificed for a long time to be Dr. Ko; but, now I cannot wait to become Mrs. Dauk! :)
